Sopheak and Olivia's engagement session

So this is my very first blog post. No idea what I'm really doing, but I though I'd give it a try...everyone else seems to find success with it, so why not.

I wasn't sure what to expect going to Downtown Springfield, but I was actually surprised with the results. Sopheak and Olivia certainly did make it easy however, so I can't take much credit.

First, we went to the bike path along the river, which I think Springfield poured a few million dollars into and no body really uses. Such was the case during the shoot. Other than one random guy hanging out on the bench we didn't see anyone. So, the bike path was nice, good leading lines and a clean feeling to the photographs overall.

Second we went to City Hall, where actually my Wife and I had our wedding photos done, and I liked the results of that so much I just had to go back. Right across from City Hall is the town common where we just happen to find a tree that had just lost it leaves which made a vibrant yellow carpet on the sidewalk. Overall, we had a great experience hitting downtown, with some great results to back it up.
