A Little More Free Time

Now that my wedding surge is over I have a little more time to do some other stuff…like blogging…Woo Hoo!!! I’m still a little backup with wedding editing, but that stuff takes time…lots of time.
Back in September I had the privilege to photograph Phil and Toni’s wedding which was wicked fun. We did a few things downtown (My favorite spot) with the whole wedding party and then some stuff of just the two of them. After that it was off to the Castle of the Knights for some good food and good dancing.

Mike and Melissa’s Wedding

I know my massive fan base of tens and tens of people are dying to see my next blog post cause its been to long! Well, now that I fixed my broken computer, (and way behind on edting) here it is!.
We went to the Wustaeriahurst (sp?) Museum and it was beyond what I imagined for a suburban Holyoke, kinda in the middle of the ghetto, place. Mike and Melissa worked really quick in the short amount of time that we had and were great models. Mike also doubled as my assistant and helped me move my lights and stuff around so we could go even faster! Thanks Mike! Congrats.

OK Sorry about the lame picture layout. My new blog uploader is giving me issues.

Senior Pics: Christian

048

So apparently I’m not too good at this whole blog thing. My consistency is weak! My tendency is to go strong for like 3 days and then slack off for 3 months. Such is the case today….

Anyway, I did, with the help of my super assistant Ron, some pretty fun senior pics for Christian from my Church. He asked me about taking his drum set into a field which I though was an awesome idea, I was just nervous about some farmer chasing after us for being on his turf. So, we found a field, set up his drums and I clicked away. No crazy farmers.

After the field we went to a park near by and got some other cool stuff. Christian was a great kid to work with and really talented in the music department (He plays guitar too!)

Northampton Wedding

I had my first Northampton wedding a few weeks ago at Helen Hills Chapel just past downtown. After the ceremony we headed over (across the street) to Smith College for a few shots of the just the bride and groom. The whole Northampton area is perfect for photography in general, but we were limited by time and rain so we didn’t venture too far. The following small ceremony was at the Night Kitchen in Montague which was such a neat restaurant and would recommend to anyone willing to go 45 minutes away.02620264 0284 0195

Senior Pics: Abbie

So one of my favorite spots is Springfield Riverview Park…I’ve taken quite a few people there and it always seems to give pretty good results. I think most of it is that I don’t actually know where else to go besides here and a few other Springfield locations. Any good Suggestions (besides Stanley Park)?

After Abbie and I went to the Riverview we went down some random back ally in downtown Springfield which actually was pretty neat03. I had no idea where I was really going, but was just wandering in creepy areas of the city. Fun :)

Senior Pics: James

James and I went to downtown Springfield near the river where there’s a ton of different areas to work with. I don’t know why I bother and try to limit myself to just an hour…I always go way over that, as was the case here. But, we had fun and got a few good shots worth writing about.
